13th November 2020 Parent Newsletter

Another busy week!  Thank you all for being so understanding as we progressed through our first week of lockdown. We know there has been some technical challenges but hope that we are supporting you through these and pupils at home are accessing some learning and keeping in contact with the school.

As things stand, we are looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Thursday 19th November, but we will write to you to confirm this at the end on Tuesday 17th.

Our Blended Learning Coordinator can be contacted on  victoria.fearnley@philip-southcote.surrey.sch.uk.  Mrs Fearnley will also be leading on welfare support for Year 11 pupils at home.

In addition:

Mrs Page will be our Blended Learning Welfare Mentor for year 7 and 8.  katie.page@philip-southcote.surrey.sch.uk.

Mrs Windsor will be our Blended Learning Welfare Mentor for year 9 and 10. jwindsor@philip-southcote.surrey.sch.uk.

All 3 of these ladies will be available until 2nd December during school hours to support should your child be self-isolating from school due to COVID.

Outdoor Learning Afternoon

Today we spent the afternoon with our pupils outside enjoying the autumn sunshine with a fantastic fire pit experience. Sorry if they came home smelling of bonfire and covered in mud and marshmallow!!  It was an absolute pleasure to see everyone having so much fun, check out the photos from our afternoon.
