NESSSS Premises Manager

Premises Manager

Surrey Grade 6

Salary range £24,780 - £27,317

36 hours per week Full Time

We are currently looking for a full-time Premises Manager.  If you are committed to supporting our school vision, then this could be the position for you.

We believe that all students deserve a world class education.  Our aim is to support our students as they move towards adulthood, helping them to make informed choices.  Using our comprehensive outreach programmes, we are able to support schools and prevent permanent exclusions.  Knowing that this is not always possible, our Medically Vulnerable and Alternative Provision offers to help our students to re-engage in education and provide them with the skills necessary to move forwards.

Job Purpose

  • To be responsible for the general safety and overall appearance of both sites, and manage all issues relating to Health and Safety, e.g. implementing a programme of risk assessments.

  • To be responsible to the Headteacher for a high level of maintenance of the buildings and site, (including certain technical and administration duties), to ensure their most cost-effective use, and to contribute towards the Management Committees objectives of achieving greater value for money.

If you are excited about providing a first-class environment to our young people and are looking for a fresh challenge, then we would love to discuss the role with you more. Please visit North East Surrey Short Stay School for more information about the school.

The North East Surrey Short Stay School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all employees, workers and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. As with all posts, the successful applicant will be required to provide proof of their right to work in the UK and, if they have lived abroad, overseas police clearance/s will need to be sought.
