Communication Support Worker

£16,386-£18,060 (Pay Award Pending)

Philip Southcote School is looking to recruit a communication support worker who will be able to complement the professional work of Teachers by taking responsibility for supporting Deaf pupils within the classroom and around the school; including assessment, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.

The right candidate will be able to support the learning of individual pupils with SEND and those who are Deaf or have a hearing impairment. They will also be able to facilitate learning by supporting the needs of individual pupils and small groups of pupils in accordance with school policy and the needs of the school in the pursuit of high standards of pupils’ achievement.
