A HUGE THANK YOU to EVERYONE who attended and supported the PFA Christmas Market event at the Festive Fiesta at the end of the term last year! Together we raised over £1400!!!

The raffle generated almost half of that amount and was only possibly with the kind donations of fabulous prizes from parents and staff at the school (you know who you are!), but we also received some super prizes from the following companies:

BRITISH GAS

CAFE ONE RESTAURANT, WEYBRIDGE

CHERTSEY MOTS 4 U

CLIFTON NURSERIES

DENBIES VINEYARD

GARRETT HAIR BOUTIQUE, WEYBRIDGE

ROWTOWN VALETING

RUNNYMEDE ON THAMES SPA

THE ELMBRIDGE ARMS, WEYBRIDGE

TOPGOLF, ADDLESTONE

WHITARDS

A special THANK YOU also goes to estate agent company Nevin and Wells Residential, Egham who generously donated £100 straight into the PFA bank account!

The Southcote Parents & Friends Association is a group of enthusiastic parents and staff members, set up to raise money and support the school with events & projects that will enrich the school-life of all the students at Philip Southcote school.

However, as our name suggests, we are also looking for other members of the Southcote community to get involved – do get in touch!

Here are the core committee members:

Co-chairs: Libby Turner and Jenny Eaglestone

Secretary: Vacancy (let us know if you are interested!)

Treasurer: Victoria Fearnley

Current PFA goal:

  • Giving the pupils some much-needed outdoor seating and equipment to keep them happy and busy at break times!

Upcoming dates for your diaries:

  • Mon 22nd – Thu 25th at 9am “Bags-2-school” clothes recycling scheme; please bring in any unwanted items of (dry, clean) clothing, shoes, handbags in (any) plastic bags, which will be collected and recycled for a donation to the PFA! The more we collect, the more we earn! Last year we raised an impressive £76 – but let’s see what we can do to beat that amount!
  • Monday 22nd at 6.30pm - the first PFA meeting of 2018 – please come and join us at the school for a cuppa and a chat, while we decide what activities to do next and how to spend the money we raise!

Finally, feel free to contact us with ideas, comments or questions: southcote.pfa@philip-southcote.surrey.sch.uk

Thank you to everyone who supported our Festive Fiesta. We are delighted to announce that the PFA raised a magnificent £1,400.
