BTEC Applied Science completion of Unit 2 – Using Equipment to Make Scientific Observations and Measurements – Field Trip

 

We will plan and investigate outside of the school site using a local field study centre. Aspects of the work will be photographed and videoed. A witness statement will be made by the staff at the centre.

The evidence for your portfolio will include an observation / witness statement forms from your tutor who will check that you have followed the instructions you have been given to complete each procedure correctly. You can also be filmed carrying out one or two procedures.

This provides evidence for Assessment Criteria 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5
