This term the students will be exploring with simple additons and subtractions with more compolex for the most able students; addition using different methods (column and line); counting in 2s, 5s and 10 backwards and rote counting to 100; adding 10 and 100 to any given number; using objects to do subtraction; two and three digit numbers additoion and subtractions; comparing and ordering numbers using “<” and “>” with numbers to 100 and to over 1000; estimation of numbers on a number line
