Subject:            MATHEMATICS                       Year Group: 11

TOPICS

This term the students will studinying “Using and applying statistics” for half of the term. The other half we will concentrate again in numbers. Some of the topics that will cover in statistics are creation and interpretation of pictograms, bar and line charts; solving problems using information given in bar charts, pictograms, tables and other graphs; working with data, how to collect it, how to create and hypothesys and select information from different statements. When we start working with “Numbers” we will be studying multiplication and times tables; equivalent fractions and working with decimnals.
