TOPICS

 

E-Safety: Pupils will learn how to stay safe online. Pupil’s will learn about online line apps and online computer games and learn about what the dangers are and how to avoid those dangers. Pupils will learn how to report an issue they feel uncomfortable with.

 

Using a computer: Pupils will learn to navigate the Windows environment as well as how to organise their work. Pupils will learn how to create folders and files with appropriate names. Pupils will learn how to open and save files accordingly.

 

Typing Skills: Pupils will learn about using the keyboard and learn about different functionality of the keyboard.

 

Programming: Pupils will develop an understanding of key concepts of programming, such as storing data, decision making and repetition while making a game using Scratch
